Meal and Snack Ideas
Lord, Come to Our A.I.D.
It’s hard to feel inspired by a list of foods or recipes on paper — I get it. That’s why I love using images to spark creativity and joy in making new recipes to crowd out the S.A.D. “Standard American Diet” foods that I (sadly) consumed much of in the past. As I share in Lord, Come to Our A.I.D., I encourage you to do your research and discern what ingredients and amounts of food God is leading you to consume. And have fun! While recipes are not provided for these meals and snacks, I hope the images here will stir your heart toward adding lower-inflammatory foods to your diet. Use them as a springboard for a search of recipes that you’ll enjoy making and eating.
For a printable PDF of these ideas, click the name of the meal you’re looking into (breakfast, lunch, etc.) to view and download the file.
AI tip: Use Chat GPT, CoPilot, etc. to describe the recipe you’re looking for, including ingredients that you want and/or do not want to use. Ask it to find you one, and if that one isn’t to your liking, ask it to find another. You can also add that you want recipes that have very positive reviews.
*Salad dressings and drizzles: Research healthy, homemade options - tahini, lemon vinaigrette, creamy avocado, carrot ginger, balsamic vinaigrette.
