Do you want to be well?

Self-Care + Soul-Care

Self‑Care + Soul‑Care is the foundational program of Virtue Health—the place we recommend every woman begin her wellness journey. It’s where the language of modern self‑care meets the eternal truth of Scripture. Here, we learn to care for our bodies and our souls in a way that honors God, reflects His design, and aligns our daily lives with His heart for our wholeness.

Today, “self‑care” is everywhere, but for Christian women, it carries a deeper meaning. Self‑care is honoring God—because He is the One who created us. When we care for the body He formed, the mind He shaped, and the soul He breathed life into, we are stewarding His creation with love and gratitude. And in doing so, we become better equipped to care for others and to live out the mission He has entrusted to us.

This program explores 8 key areas of wellness, each one beautifully modeled in the life of Jesus. God became man so we could see, up close, what a well‑lived human life looks like. Through Scripture and reflection, we learn how Christ:

  • nourished His body

  • honored silence and rest

  • tended to His emotions

  • lived in community

  • stayed rooted in prayer

  • practiced boundaries

  • fulfilled His purpose deliberately

  • stayed aligned with the Father

As we follow His example, self‑care becomes soul‑care, and soul‑care becomes a path to deeper peace, purpose, and Christ‑centered alignment.

In a world filled with noise, advice, opinions, and quick fixes, we often turn to professionals, friends, and even the internet to guide our wellness choices. While those voices can be helpful, our Creator knows us best. When we return to Him—letting Him speak into our needs, stress, habits, hopes, and healing—our wellness journey becomes holy ground.
